This Pim + Larkin Madeline sheath dress ($44.97 with 20% off, code BETTER20) is styled sooo perfectly here I could just cry with gratitude. The dress itself is perfect to wear to a warm-weather event like a wedding or graduation (head’s up though, its reviews suggest sizing up). Then add a pair of burgundy heels like these Nine West patent pumps ($39.94 at DSW) and a little lemon yellow clutch (I like this Gap leather flap clutch in light yellow, $27.99 plus 25% with code TREAT, but you could certainly go brighter and louder!) TA-DA. OUTFIT.

As I think about my summer work wardrobe, I gravitate towards items like this Gap fitted boyfriend gingham shirt ($24.99 with 25% off your purchase, code TREAT). It would be easy to amass a bunch of structured, modest, breezy tops like this and pair them with a neutral-colored cropped work trouser (like Old Navy’s The Pixie pants, $34.94 plus 15% off with code EXTRA) with flats, over and over again.

salecandy asked: Is there a way to wear crop tops without looking like Hulk, a way that is easy but I am just somehow missing
High-waisted shorts and High-waisted Skirts are the ultimate. Babe! Sex-bomb pinup look. Bonus: They were on the list of clothing items men don’t get or something, so misandry!
Also: you don’t look like the Hulk but if you did Mark Ruffalo is fyinnnne, no complaints here.
Thinking I should take the crop top/high-waisted shorts PLUNGE.. Haters to the left.

I have a small army of cute little bop-around crossbody bags. I buy them cheap and lose them under my bed and rifle through them looking for lip balm or cash or gum that I know I had last weekend but lost track of. I emphatically recommend having SIX MILLION bags like this Carla Striped Crossbody from Banana Republic. It’s just $21.99 with 35% off your purchase (code: BRTODAY).

Anonymous asked: Where can I find cheap belts that are still stylish? I don't want to spend more than $15, maybe $20 max, but it's hard to find belts that are affordable and cute.
BELTS! I’m a bit out of my wheelhouse on belts. I sometimes wear one with a dress, then catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror, think “oh no this isn’t working” and stuff it into my purse. However, I can certainly point you in the right direction. I would generally say avoid places like Target, where the belts are generally not as trendy, or H&M and Forever 21, where the belts are generally going to fall apart, and try to catch some sales.
We’ll start with belts for the waist: LOFT is for sure a great place to look, just wait for a sale! Right now this leather covered stone belt is $34.99, and this cute knotted front stretch belt is $39.50 and you can take 40% off with code 4PEEPS. Also try Urban Outfitters: these popular BDG skinny belts are 2 for $14 and come in a crazy range of colors. Gap belts will also go on sale, like these colorblock skinny belts that are marked down to $16.99. Generally Banana Republic belts are overpriced (in the $35 range) but sometimes you’ll see a good deal like this floral belt for $10.99 plus 35% off (code: BRTODAY). As far as J. Crew belts go, I would say don’t bother. You’ll find the same styles elsewhere for cheaper. J. Crew Factory has some cute and cheap picks (like this skinny patent belt for $16) but selection is limited.
As for belts you might wear with jeans, I suggest waiting for sale at American Eagle. Most of them are real leather (like this braided option or this embroidered one) and while they cost around $25, they will be marked down. Right now they are buy one, get one 50% off.
Hope you saw one or some you liked!

These Forever 21 wide-leg illusion pants are just plain fun and, at just $15.96, worth it even if you only take them out for a few spins. I’d wear them out on a hot summer night with sandals like these from H&M and a plain white tank like this one from Aerie.

Not a ton of sizes left here, but, you guys. Holy wow. These Converse washed neon Chuck Taylors are $23.99 on 6PM and they are calling my name.

I used to favor slouchy bags without pockets, because I apparently don’t enjoy being happy or something, but recently I’ve been gravitating to more structured bags and girl, thank goodness. This ZARA square bowling bag is on sale for $49.90 and looks like it would help me keep my shit together in a million ways.
