I love Selena’s outfit here. I just LAAAAAAV it. You can dupe it so easily:
- This boyfriend V-neck tee from Target in Light Heather Gray, $9
- These STS Blue cargo pocket skinnies from Nordstron ($54), or if you’re a size 23, 25 or 26 you can snag these Rag & Bone Bowery 3s for $82, from $275
- Now she’s got a pair of studded sky-high taupe ankle booties, and while I do love ‘em, I personally would keep this look grounded in reality with Sam Edelman’s Petty boot in putty ($130).
- Finally, fill a big black bag with all your shit. This H&M handbag works just fine ($24).
If you want to dupe Taylor’s outfit, just barf into a bag full of Modcloth dresses, little kittens and New Girl DVDs. IDK.

Baublebar has teamed up with Salvador Perez, costume designer for The Mindy Project (which also makes him my hero), to create a few super cute new pieces that I am straight up lusting over! I’m especially loving this pretty, deep cornflower blue The gem trumpet drop earrings at top are $32 and also come in pink, and the sapphire runway collar is $44. New customers, you can get 15% off when you sign up for the email list, plus shipping is free. I love!

Two fantastic, FANTASTIC pairs of boots for sale over at Anthropologie. The leather Latigo boots at left are $79.95 (from $140) and the Highway Rambler booties are just $39.95 (from $128). Both are crazy interesting yet totally wearable. Skinnies and a gray v-neck GO.

For those of us actually planning to brave the elements this winter, Nordstrom has marked down a few styles of the Doc Martens 1460 Boot. The cherry-brown (above) and the patent black are both $90, from $125. Either would look so, so great with leggings and a chunky sweater.

I adore this Joe Fresh plaid print sweater ($39 plus 15% off, code FUNDEAL). Looks so much more spendy than it is, and you know I won’t tell if you wanna say it’s J. Crew.

These ankle length pants from Uniqlo are damn near perfect. They have an elastic waistband and secretly wear like leggings, but are work-appropriate ponte pants too. The only thing that sucks is that they come in XS-XXL, and I’m between sizes!! One size is too butt-tastic, the other is way too big in the waist. But maybe they will work for you. I believe.

If you missed out on the jumpsuit trend this summer, fret not - H&M has got a cute long-sleeved one for $30 (from $50).

I love shoes, but I don’t love heels. I tend to wear flats and boots all winter and usually only need to rock pumps on a few occasions. I’ve been relying on these H&M pumps ($24.95) for YEARS now. The heel is low and comfortable (but not a kitten heel, which I appreciate), but the shape is still sexy. They look awesome with a cocktail dress/tights or jeans and a cute top. They also work in the office. These are just A+, you need them. And at that price?? BLESSED BE.

Things That I Want Right Now
Earlier this morning, as I pulled my yellow-and-taupe crocheted infinity scarf out of storage, I realized that every time the seasons change I get very hooked on obtaining a handful of specific items. Last year I inexplicably needed a chunky, mustard yellow scarf and hunted around like a crazy person until I found the perfect one. Similarly, this fall I have already begun listing in my head the oddly specific items I NEED. And these are them:
I’m sure this list will continue to grow, but so far this is what I feel like I need to transition into cooler weather gracefully. What’s on your list?

I have become v obsessed with drugstore makeup. Like, scary obsessed. It’s just too easy to stack coupons, stake out sales at every CVS on my route home, y’know the whole enchilada and then some. And surprisingly, one of my favorite brands these days is Wet N’ Wild. The price point is so low and the quality is really high, I swear. This is not the Wet N Wild blue eyeshadow with chunky gold glitter of your youth. So anyway, I have to tell you about the above limited-edition palettes, Melrose at Night and Smoke & Melrose. I picked up the latter last week and I’m obsessed! I don’t have the famous/infamous Urban Decay Naked 3 palette (in a similar vein, I don’t have $54 to spend on eyeshadow either). But you can create a lot of the same looks with these little suckaz, which clock in at about $3.99 each. Check all your drugstores and see if you can find them! They will be in a special little display that looks like this.
